Summary:

Coordinates and provides clinical pharmacy services to patients and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. Provides leadership and oversight to pharmacy technicians and other support staff for the distribution, dispensing and compounding of sterile and non-sterile medications and related supplies in compliance with accreditation, legal, regulatory and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

Performs sterile compounding, including limited hazardous medications in accordance with regulatory requirements.Able to perform all activities per pharmacy technician scope of practiceCompetent and skilled to perform all duties of Technician I.Assists with procurement of medications and supplies through various ordering platforms.Assists with process improvement and continuous quality and safety monitoring initiatives.

Education and Certification Requirements:
