EH224 - Temporary Housekeeper/Cook - Manhattan

Overview

A family of three visiting Manhattan is seeking a live-out cook/housekeeper who is skilled in Indian cuisine to assist them during their stay. They will be residing on the Upper East Side. This is a temporary position starting July 15th and running through August 15th. The schedule is to be determined but will be 4-5 days per week, averaging 6 hours per day. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and communicative.

Responsibilities

• To be able to prepare three meals per day, focusing on Indian cuisine: breakfast, lunch, and dinner (they eat eggs, but no meat or fish)
• Laundry- washing and ironing 
• Vacuum, mop, dust, empty the trash
• Clean bathrooms
• Load and empty the dishwasher
• Ensure the kitchen is left clean and the countertops are wiped down

Requirements

• Knowledge of preparing and cooking Indian cuisine
• US work authorization

Salary and Benefits

• $40/hr +
• Metro card provided
