Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced React Native Developer to join our Mobile Application Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and optimizing high-performance cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript. This role requires strong expertise in mobile architecture, frontend engineering, backend integrations, AI/ML-enabled mobile experiences, and application performance optimization. The candidate will also contribute to technical leadership initiatives by mentoring junior developers, driving engineering best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and innovative mobile solutions.

 

Mobile Application Development 

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript for iOS and Android. • Translate UI/UX wireframes and product requirements into responsive, intuitive, and accessible mobile interfaces.

• Develop reusable, modular, and maintainable components aligned with enterprise design systems and coding standards.

• Ensure optimal application performance, responsiveness, and compatibility across devices and operating systems. AI/ML Integration & Innovation

• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into mobile applications using technologies such as TensorFlow Lite, Core ML, and cloud-based AI services.

• Collaborate with data science and AI teams to implement intelligent features including NLP, recommendation engines, image recognition, and chatbot functionality.

• Optimize AI/ML models for mobile deployment, focusing on model size reduction, inference speed, and battery efficiency. Code Quality & Testing

• Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code following industry standards, SOLID principles, and design patterns.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices and coding standards.

• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using frameworks such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, and Detox.

• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient testing, deployment, and release management. Backend Integration & APIs

• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and microservices.

• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, and related security protocols.

• Develop offline-first functionality and local persistence solutions using SQLite, Realm, or similar technologies.

• Manage application state using Redux, Context API, Zustand, or equivalent frameworks. Performance Optimization & Monitoring

• Profile and optimize applications for rendering performance, memory utilization, battery consumption, and network efficiency.

• Integrate monitoring, analytics, and crash-reporting tools such as Firebase Crashlytics and performance monitoring solutions.

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements proactively. Technical Leadership & Collaboration

• Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering decision-making processes.

• Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing sessions.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.

DevOps & Deployment

• Work with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI for automated build and deployment processes.

• Support application deployment activities for Apple App Store and Google Play Store releases.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams on cloud deployment strategies and infrastructure support for backend systems.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, coding standards, security guidelines, and data protection regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.

• Maintain high standards for application security, data privacy, and secure coding practices.

 

Skillset & Qualifications Required Experience 

• Minimum 3–7 years of relevant experience in React Native mobile application development.

• Proven experience building and deploying production-grade cross-platform applications. Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in React Native and TypeScript.

• Good understanding of native mobile development concepts for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin/Java).

• Hands-on experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.

• Experience integrating REST APIs and GraphQL services.

• Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks including Jest, Detox, and React Native Testing Library.

• Strong knowledge of Git workflows and collaborative development practices.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based delivery.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

• Strong understanding of mobile security best practices, authentication, encryption, and secure API communication.

 

AI/ML Skills 

• Experience integrating TensorFlow Lite, Core ML, or cloud-based AI services into mobile applications.

• Understanding of machine learning concepts and AI-driven mobile experiences.

• Experience implementing features such as NLP, recommendation systems, image recognition, and intelligent automation.

• Ability to optimize machine learning models for mobile performance.

 

Good to Have 

• Experience with Expo and CodePush.

• Knowledge of React.js or Next.js.

• Familiarity with Firebase services.

• Understanding of Docker and containerized backend environments.

• Exposure to AR/VR technologies or Web3/mobile blockchain integrations.

• Backend development experience using Node.js or related technologies.

 

Educational Qualification 

• bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Master’s degree is preferred.
