About the Role
We are looking for a VoIP & Core Network Engineer (Presales & Support) with strong expertise in VoIP technologies, SIP signaling, and core networking. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise voice solutions while working closely with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise VoIP and unified communication solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot SIP signaling, SIP trunking, SBCs, and PBX/UCaaS environments.
- Provide technical presales support, including solution design and customer consultations.
- Deploy networking and VoIP solutions for enterprise clients.
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and resolve complex networking and voice-related issues.
- Troubleshoot network and VoIP issues using packet analysis tools such as Wireshark and sngrep.
- Configure and support Layer 2/Layer 3 switching and routing.
- Ensure Quality of Service (QoS) optimization for voice traffic.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams and customers to deliver successful projects.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in VoIP and Core Networking.
Strong understanding of:
- SIP Signaling
- Session Border Controllers (SBC)
- SIP Trunking
- PBX / UCaaS platforms
- Hands-on experience with:
- BGP
- OSPF
- Layer 2 & Layer 3 Switching
- QoS implementation for voice traffic
- Expertise in troubleshooting using:
- Wireshark
- sngrep
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
