Automotive Maintenance/Quick Lube Technician

Position Overview:  This is an entry level position.  Applicants should be capable of oil changes, tire rotations, completing minor services, tire and battery replacement, etc. Can perform most tasks that do not require in-depth diagnostics or complex critical mechanical aptitude with guidance as needed upon researching work instructions, or after being taught the proper techniques first.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check and communicate oil level to other teammates
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Install new oil drain plugs and filters, perform tire rotation , balance , replace, repair tires
• Other related duties, as assigned

• Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
• The employee frequently is required to stand; sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
• The employee will frequently be required to operate manual and automatic vehicles
• Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

• 1 year minimum automotive experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass a background check 
• A self-motivator with strong attention to detail
• A results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude with excellent communication skill
• Strong work ethic
• Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:   This is a full-time position and hours of work and days must be flexible to include evening hours and weekends
