Impactful Work:
This role sits at the center of autonomous vehicle safety. You'll design simulation and on-road validation strategies that evaluate collision avoidance performance, analyze safety-critical scenarios, identify testing gaps, and help drive engineering improvements that directly influence how autonomous vehicles are safely deployed in real-world environments.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Physics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of technical experience, including at least 3 years developing software for robotics or autonomous systems.
- Strong software development skills in Python and/or C++ with excellent algorithmic problem-solving abilities.
- Experience designing simulation-based evaluation suites and safety-critical test scenarios for autonomous vehicles or robotic systems.
- Experience developing collision metrics, evaluation frameworks, data analytics tools, or CI/CD testing pipelines that measure autonomous system performance.
- Working knowledge of systems engineering principles, including requirements development, verification, and validation.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- A self-driven mindset with the ability to solve complex, unstructured technical problems and deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-paced environment.
