## Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst

We are seeking an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst to join our dynamic Technology team. This pivotal role involves contributing to the full lifecycle of application systems, from analysis and design to development and implementation. The primary objective is to enhance and innovate our application systems and programs.

## Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust system enhancements using advanced application development procedures and concepts.
• Utilize scripting tools and perform in-depth code analysis to identify improvements and deliver resilient solutions.
• Collaborate with peers, clients, and other technology teams to recommend and execute effective programming solutions, ensuring seamless deployment and support of critical customer-facing systems.
• Leverage expertise in programming languages and design principles to create detailed technical specifications for new features and functionalities.
• Actively contribute across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), demonstrating strong technical leadership.
• Proactively identify and address potential application vulnerabilities and security risks, implementing robust preventative measures and effective remediation.
• Perform comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality, high-performance, and secure applications.
• Exhibit expert-level analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex coding, application performance, and design challenges.
• Conduct meticulous research and investigation to pinpoint root causes of development and performance issues, implementing sustainable defect resolutions.
• Demonstrate strong initiative and autonomy, operating effectively with minimal direct supervision.
• Engage continuously with diverse stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and ensure strategic alignment with business objectives.

## Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated solid experience in application development, with a proven history of delivering robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
• Expert-level proficiency in modern Java technologies, including Core Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Microservices, and RESTful API design.
• Proven expertise in designing and developing secure and efficient APIs and Web Services utilizing REST protocols.
• Extensive experience in architectural design and development of integrated, enterprise-grade solutions, with a strong emphasis on non-functional requirements such as scalability, availability, resilience, and data consistency.
• Exceptional ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code (Core Java, J2EE, Collections, Multithreading), coupled with advanced debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Strong experience in defining and implementing comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, ensuring high test coverage and software quality.
• Hands-on experience with high-throughput messaging platforms, such as Solace, Kafka, or other industry-standard message brokers.
• In-depth understanding and practical application of security principles, including Authentication, Authorization, encryption, and various security protocols.
• Solid practical experience with modern code versioning systems, specifically GitHub Enterprise.
• Extensive experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automation tools, including hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications within these frameworks.
• Familiarity with leading cloud platforms and proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker, along with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Experience with AWS ECS and Red Hat OpenShift is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in exploring, integrating, and leveraging AI-powered tools and solutions to enhance application development workflows.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical decision-making abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
