- Set up and operate CNC and manual bending machines to produce parts to specification
- Change tooling and dies as required for each job
- Upload and run programs through the machine interface; make basic program adjustments as needed
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make minor adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and keep equipment in safe working condition
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret computerized blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Experience with precision forming, bending, and folding operations
- Proficient in the use of measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, protractors, and tape measures
- Basic math skills required, including addition and subtraction
