Job Description

As a Security Officer Arrival Screening in Fall River, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help support a secure environment by screening visitors and personnel, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and deliveries entering the technology-focused location in accordance with established procedures; verify credentials, identification, and authorization before permitting access.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity, maintain accurate screening-related records, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry areas, the business, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
