Tax Assistant Manager

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day tax compliance and reporting for Electrum. This role will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant tax processes while partnering with Finance and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and timely submission of monthly and annual tax returns, including PPh and VAT, in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations.
• Ensure tax calculations, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and documentation are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
• Monitor tax payments, withholding-tax certificates, e-Faktur, and related compliance deadlines.
• Reconcile tax accounts with the general ledger and investigate differences with Finance and relevant stakeholders.
• Support tax audits, reviews, objections, and correspondence with the tax authority; coordinate required data and documentation.
• Assess tax implications of transactions, contracts, and business initiatives; provide practical, compliant recommendations.
• Maintain tax SOPs, controls, and filing records; identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce compliance risk.
• Coach and review the work of tax team members and collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and external consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant tax experience, including responsibility for Indonesian corporate tax compliance and reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, PPh, VAT, e-Faktur, and tax-filing processes.
• Experience with tax audits and tax reconciliations; able to prepare clear supporting documentation.
• Brevet A and B certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
• High integrity, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
