Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)
We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment in Zellwood, FL. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with mechanical and electrical maintenance experience who is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with growth potential.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Install, assemble, and maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, and production equipment
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Assist with equipment installations and continuous improvement projects
- Complete maintenance logs and communicate equipment issues effectively
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and GMP standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience required
- Industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and production equipment preferred
- Welding and PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or on a team
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Overtime and occasional weekends may be required
- Shift differential available for night shift
