PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule orders for plant production via Oracle Software.
  • Plan transportation route to set locations based on geographic efficiencies.
  • Contact carriers to ship finished product.
  • Release orders to ship by working with production to verify schedules can be accomplished with current resources.
  • Ensure accurate bills of lading have been created.
  • Liaise with customer care to ensure all special orders and expedite orders are scheduled.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Previous traffic and/or shipping work experience.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to perform accurate work under the pressures of tight schedules.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with external customers.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • 3-5 years transportation related experience.
  • Previous Cabinetworks Group manufacturing, delivery and service system exposure.
  • Prior ERP experience (Oracle, JDE, AS400).
