Role description:
Supports supplier master data operations and procurement processes by ensuring accurate supplier information, maintaining data quality, and delivering efficient and compliant vendor management services.
Role accountabilities:
Supplier Master Data & Vendor Management
- Maintain and update supplier master data in compliance with internal controls and established data standards.
- Review and process supplier setup, amendments, and deactivation requests accurately and within agreed service levels.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate vendor onboarding and maintenance.
- Validate supplier information and supporting documentation to ensure data integrity and completeness.
- Monitor supplier records and perform regular data quality checks to maintain accurate master data.
- Create and maintain documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures relating to supplier master data processes.
- Support audit requests by providing supplier master data documentation and records as required.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams to ensure consistent and efficient supplier data management.
- Handle supplier and stakeholder enquiries professionally and provide high-quality customer service.
P2P Compliance & Operations Support
- Support procurement processes by ensuring supplier records are established and maintained in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in resolving supplier data issues that may impact procurement and payment activities.
- Support process compliance through accurate record keeping and documentation.
- Ensure procurement-related data requests are completed accurately and within established timelines.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
- Identify opportunities to improve supplier master data processes, efficiency, and data quality.
- Build strong working relationships with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
- Share knowledge and best practices to promote consistency across teams.
- Support process improvement initiatives and system enhancements related to supplier data management.
- Demonstrate professionalism and uphold Arcadis values in day-to-day work.
- Build relationships through multiple stakeholder channels to provide support and guidance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Good analytical and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Around 2 years of experience in supplier master data, vendor management, procurement operations, shared services, or a related field.
- Competent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Oracle, is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Willingness to take initiative in resolving day-to-day issues in a timely manner.
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Able to communicate clearly in both written and verbal form.
- Procurement qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable but not essential.
