What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and/or perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized access attempts, and/or policy violations.
• Support site operations during high-activity periods, after-hours coverage, and/or emergency situations while maintaining visible presence and following post orders and client-directed procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
