Apprentice -Monday to Friday

Hours: 6:30am to 2:30pm

ONCE COMPLETE APPRENTICESHIP, will convert to MRI Tech 1

MRI Tech1 will be PART TIME

Variable Days

Hours: 2pm to Midnight

Every other 4th Weekend.

About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital

In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.

Scope of work

Provides health care services, applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.  Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner.  Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. 

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent required

  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with ARRT

  • CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB       Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board   Must remain in good standing with the NMTCB

  • CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT     American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with the ARRT (N)

  • CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS    American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography       Must remain in good standing with the ARDMS

  • CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT        American Registry of Radiologic Technologist      Must remain in good standing with the ARRT

  • CRT-Vascular Sonographer (VS) - ARRT    American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with the ARRT or ARDMS

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA           American Heart Association or Red Cross
