About the role and team:
At CreateFuture, we help ambitious organisations solve complex business problems through technology.
We're looking for an experienced AWS consulting leader who has spent their career advising enterprise customers—not simply designing cloud infrastructure, but helping organisations transform how they build products, use data and adopt AI.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked within AWS as a Senior or Principal Solutions Architect (or within an equivalent consulting organisation) and enjoys working directly with customers to shape strategy, influence executive stakeholders and turn technology into measurable business outcomes.
You'll join as one of our most senior technical leaders, partnering with clients from early strategy through to delivery while helping shape some of the UK's most exciting Cloud, Data and AI transformation programmes.
It's an exciting time to join us. As part of Version 1, we're investing heavily in our Cloud and AI capability and are proud to be both an Anthropic Preferred Services Partner and an OpenAI Services Partner. This gives our teams the opportunity to work at the forefront of enterprise AI adoption, helping customers move beyond experimentation into meaningful business transformation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CDOs and senior technology leaders.
- Lead executive discovery workshops, strategy engagements and technology roadmapping.
- Shape large-scale Cloud, Data and AI transformation programmes.
- Help customers modernise legacy platforms using modern cloud-native architectures.
- Design pragmatic technology roadmaps focused on business outcomes, not just technology choices.
- Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure strategic intent becomes successful execution.
- Support strategic opportunities, bids and executive presentations.
- Mentor senior consultants and architects across the business.
- Represent CreateFuture externally through customer events, industry forums and thought leadership.
- Influence the evolution of our Cloud, Data and AI consulting propositions.
We’d love to talk to you if you:
- Experience in enterprise consulting, gained within AWS or a leading technology consultancy.
- Principal or Senior Solutions Architect experience.
- Have customer-facing consulting experience, rather than purely internal architecture.
- Experience leading enterprise cloud, data, or AI transformation programmes.
- Experience working with clients across Financial Services, Retail, Gaming, or the Public Sector.
- Commercial solution shaping and pre-sales experience.
- Experience delivering executive presentations and facilitating workshops.
- Experience speaking at conferences, customer events, or community forums.
What we’ll offer you:
We trust people to do their best work. That means flexibility over rigid rules, impact over activity, and real investment in your growth both professionally and personally. You’ll be part of a supportive, and friendly culture, surrounded by smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do.
We offer flexible working, including hybrid and remote options. Our office hubs are located in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, London and Bulgaria, with occasional travel to client sites or CreateFuture offices when needed.
We trust you to manage your time balancing collaboration with client time and focused work. What matters is the impact you have, not how busy you look.
Our hiring process
We try to keep our hiring process clear, fair and respectful of your time. We aim to get back to everyone who applies and we will be upfront about where you are in the process.
It usually looks like this:
- Call with our Talent Acquisition Team
- Role specific capability interview
Depending on the role, we might also ask you to do a short presentation, a practical or technical task or have a values focused conversation. We will explain what is involved before anything happens.
Inclusion at CreateFuture
We believe diverse teams build better workplaces and better products. We want CreateFuture to be a place where people feel able to be themselves and do their best work.
If you need any adjustments or support during the application process, just. We will do what we can to help.
We look forward to your application!
