Associate Material Handler

Required Skills / Capabilities

• • Competency in navigating the Internet
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus

Education and Experience

• • High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year(s) of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Travel and/or Physical Requirements

• • Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Required to possess specific visons abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus
  • May be required to operate a powered industrial truck and perform role related tasks while elevated 25 feet or higher
