We are searching for the best talent for CRE - Assembly Operator II position.

Operates diverse types of machinery in an assigned cell, to produce various types of Medical Devices, including implants. Equipment used depends on product being manufactured or operation being performed and may vary from cell to cell. Under direction of the supervisor and/or cell lead, works to ensure production requirements are met, product quality is maintained, machine maintenance schedules are adhered to and safety rules are followed.  

You will be responsible for:

• Operate various types of equipment used in the manufacture of medical devices in accordance with established processes and quality requirements.
• Use technology systems such as PLM, MES, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems to complete assigned tasks.
• Perform routine operator asset care activities, including process machine maintenance.
• Complete rework or reprocessing activities on products that do not meet specifications and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Follow safety procedures and job safety analyses (JSAs) to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
• Adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct in-process quality checks according to established specifications and work with quality teams to address issues.
• Comply with manufacturing requirements for medical devices, including quality and regulatory standards.
• Complete required documentation, inspection records, work instructions, and traceability records.
• Lift up to 25 pounds as required.
• Learn and follow department-specific procedures and training requirements.
• Support engineering teams with expansion and validation activities by serving as a subject matter expert or connecting teams with appropriate resources.
• Follow all EHS&S policies, including PPE usage, safe work practices, incident reporting, training completion, corrective actions, and proper waste segregation.
• Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, company, federal, state, and local requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Cleaning Tasks

• Perform cleaning and labeling activities based on product and work cell assignments.
• Operate cleaning-related equipment, including cleaning systems, labeling equipment, centrifuges, and other specialized machinery.
• Use measuring instruments such as pH meters, go/no-go gauges, conductivity meters, visual inspection tools, and digital titrators.
• Utilize hand tools such as spanner wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as instructed.

Packaging Tasks

• Perform assembly, packaging, and labeling operations based on product and cell assignments.
• Operate manual and automated packaging and assembly equipment as required.
• Use measuring instruments such as pH meters, go/no-go gauges, conductivity meters, and visual inspection tools.

Finishing Tasks

• Perform order breakdown, visual inspection, documentation reconciliation, purchase order receipt, shipping, bagging and tagging, and shrink-wrap operations.
• Operate equipment such as printers, shrink-wrap machines, palletizing machines, pallet jacks, and measurement devices.
• Manage product receipt, material handling, storage, cycle counting, and inventory control activities.

Additional Tasks

• Operate cleaning tanks, drying ovens, and various packaging equipment to support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
   

Experience and Skills

Required:

• 3 years or more hands-on-experience in manufacturing environment
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities 
• Ability to set effective and challenging objectives for self and others 
• Ability to motivate self and others to achieve goals 
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners to achieve a common goal
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
• Experience with Quality and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is preferred. 
• Experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry is preferred. 

Preferred:

• 4-6 years of experience preferred
• Demonstrates some awareness of other engineering specialties and upstream stakeholders, including Quality Engineering and New Product Introduction teams. 
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge preferred. 
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of equipment effectiveness and manufacturing & maintenance excellence concepts (OEE, SOL, etc.).  
• Demonstrates organized, analytical approach to problem solving. 
• Measuring instrumentation knowledge and/or technique

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$38,500.00 - $61,985.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.


Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
