Turner Industries is currently accepting resumes for a Lead Warehouse Person positionin the Sorrento, LA area. There is no per diem or relocation assistance for these positions; successful candidates will be local. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Warehourse Manager; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.
- MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
- MUST have previous experience in Supply Chain Management or Warehouse Technician
- MUST have knowledge of materials associated with the oil and gas industry-valves, pumps, motors, gaskets, etc.

Essential Functions:
- Authorize and coordinate work performed by contracted area shops for repairs/exchange of remanufactured parts used in plants and gathering systems.
- Coordinate warehousing operations, including the ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of equipment and materials.
- Assist in coordinating asset recovery functions for surplus, junk, and obsolete materials.
- Identify and locate suitable surplus for reuse within the company.
- Deliver parts and materials to the facilities as needed to minimize downtime.
- Maintain the warehouse by physically stocking shelves and using a forklift when needed.
- Maintain warehouse data, conduct physical inventory audits of warehouse accounts, reconcile with accounting systems, and prepare material transfers for movement or disposal.
Compensation
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
