About the Role:
We are seeking an Accounting Systems Analyst to join our ASC Systems team. This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, supporting the development, automation, and optimization of accounting and finance processes.
You will work closely with Finance and Systems teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and deliver technology-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control across financial operations.
How You Will Make an Impact
Identify manual and repetitive finance processes and design automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Build and maintain automation workflows using Python, VBA/Excel Macros, Power Automate, Alteryx, or similar tools.
Support integrations between ERP, accounting, and finance systems through APIs and direct data connections.
Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze financial data.
Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Test, monitor, and document automated processes to ensure reliability, compliance, and audit readiness.
Troubleshoot existing automations and continuously improve process performance and scalability.
Maintain documentation of automated workflows, system dependencies, and process logic.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in computer applications (BCA), Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Candidates with strong practical automation experience from other educational backgrounds will also be considered.
1-2 years of experience in automation, systems support, or related technical roles.
Hands-on experience with Python and/or VBA scripting and automation.
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Exposure to workflow automation or RPA tools such as Alteryx or Power Automate.
Understanding of finance and accounting processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end close activities.
Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems, preferably SAP.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Certification in automation or RPA tools such as Alteryx, Power Automate, or similar platforms is a plus.
Previous experience working directly with Finance or Accounting teams is preferred.
Experience with API integrations and system-to-system data flows would be advantageous.
Exposure to Power BI, Alteryx, or similar reporting and dashboarding tools is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement automation solutions that drive efficiency.
