Responsibilities
As a Senior Account Manager for Managed Care, you will handle the day to day activity associated with our stop loss accounts, providing support to policyholders, brokers and program sponsors as well as providing back to the AVP, Underwriting/Managed Care. We'll also trust you to be responsible for special projects and managing vendor relationships for the division.
This role will be based in our Hamilton, NJ office. We offer a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office; and 1 day remote where it makes sense to do so.

We'll count on you to:
- Managed Care Submissions – Download all RFP’s. Review submission for missing data and follow up with brokers to acquire. Maintain the MC quote log, which enables tracking of all RFP’s. Set up Renewals.
- Broker Interface – Preparation of all policies and agreements as well as endorsements, and tracking and coordinating their execution. Broker liaison with BAH claim and finance departments.
- Implementation Manual updates and customization for new clients.
- Monthly Premium Reconciliation and Tracking.
- Creating and Maintaining Davies/Claims folders - save all documents i.e. Policies, Fee Schedules, DOFR’s and disclosure files for claim adjudication.
- Auditor Liaison – work with internal and external auditors to coordinate documentation of MC processes and workflow, premium tracking and other required documentation.
- As needed tasks – ie, provide calculations of Retained and Agg corridors for claims, track experience refunds due, and coordinate with actuarial to confirm calculations and eligibility.
Qualifications
What you need to have:
- Bachelors’ degree
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Account Management and Stop Loss
- Strong multi-tasking ability
- Strong time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong consulting and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with brokers, clients and service vendors
