JOB SUMMARY:

The Interior Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with existing interior plantscape clients. This role serves as a trusted advisor, helping businesses enhance their workplaces through interior plant solutions while identifying opportunities for additional products and services. The Interior Sales Representative collaborates with operations to ensure client expectations are met, promotes long-term client retention, and delivers exceptional customer service. All work is performed in accordance with Engledow Group's quality, safety, and service standards. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing Interior Services clients through exceptional customer service, proactive account management, communicating professionally, and adapting to diverse personalities, business needs, and management styles.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all Interior Services offerings, including plant maintenance, installations, seasonal color, events, and holiday décor to serve as a subject matter expert on interior plant solutions, horticultural best practices, and product applications to provide recommendations to clients. 
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of client accounts, including service renewals, maintenance agreements, new installations, and holiday programs, while identifying opportunities for account growth. 
  • Generate new business through strategic networking, referrals, prospecting, and consultative sales efforts to expand the Interior Services client base. 
  • Actively participate in professional associations, networking organizations, industry events, and community engagement opportunities to promote business development and professional growth. 
  • Partner with Interior Account Managers, technicians, and operations teams to ensure client expectations are clearly communicated, service quality is maintained, and customer satisfaction remains high. 
  • Maintain accurate client records, sales activities, proposals, and pipeline information within company systems.


Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and grow annual sales revenue through consultative, relationship-based selling.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to effectively engage clients at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to identify, cultivate, and convert sales leads into long-term client relationships.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and contribute collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.
  • Ability to recognize industry trends and translate market insights into value-added recommendations and business opportunities for clients and Engledow's competitive position.
