Description

Join Aliaxis as a Group Communications Business Partner and play a key role in bringing our strategy to life. Working closely with business leaders and functional teams across Finance, HR, Operations, Sustainability, Marketing, and other key functions,

you will transform complex business, financial, and transformation priorities into compelling communications that engage stakeholders, drive alignment, and strengthen our reputation.

If you combine strategic communications expertise in a global matrix environment, native-level English proficiency, and the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships, this is your opportunity to make a visible impact on a global stage.

WHO ARE WE

At Aliaxis, we design innovative, reliable, and sustainable solutions for fluid and energy management. Our pipe and fitting systems work seamlessly behind the scenes — delivering peace of mind to customers and end users across the globe.

With operations in over 40 countries, we tackle the most complex challenges in the building, infrastructure, industrial, electrical, and agriculture sectors. But what truly drives us is our people. Our 15,000 employees bring the expertise, passion, and dedication that power everything we do.

Together, we make life flow — and we're looking for talented individuals to join us on that journey.

WHAT WE’RE WORKING TOWARDS

We're offering a unique opportunity to join a global Belgian company with an international and collaborative culture. Aliaxis is focused on reinforcing our operational foundations and building the agility needed to capture future growth opportunities. Through our Horizon 2030 strategy we're evolving into a more disciplined, high-performing global Group — and we're looking for talented people who want to contribute to this long-term strategic journey.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Reporting directly to the VP Group Communications, this role is part of a collaborative team of four and offers broad exposure across corporate communications.

The scope is varied and dynamic, with responsibilities spanning strategic communications, corporate content, and internal communications. The exact focus will be shaped by your strengths, experience, and the evolving needs of the team:

  • Develop and execute corporate communication strategies and plans, including objectives, audiences, key messages, channels, budgets, agency coordination and measurement of business impact.
  • Provide expertise in corporate communications, branding, reputation management, executive positioning and thought leadership, ensuring all messaging is clear, consistent and aligned with brand, legal and compliance requirements.
  • Act as a strategic communications business partner to multiple global functions and senior leaders, translating business priorities, financial results and transformation initiatives into compelling narratives, stakeholder engagement plans and executive communications.
  • Drive alignment across Group, regional and local communications teams, while maintaining communication guidelines, policies and brand standards to ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Lead and support crisis communication preparedness and response in close partnership with Legal and business stakeholders.
  • Manage corporate communication projects and events, coordinating internal stakeholders, external partners and agencies to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Monitor and optimize communication effectiveness through KPIs and insights, continuously improving strategies, content and stakeholder engagement.
  • Facilitate the global Communications Network  and serve as the key contact for brand governance and the Group’s media library.

The role is based at Aliaxis’ global headquarters in Brussels, with remote working options (2 days a week).

ABOUT YOU

Success in this role requires strong strategic communications experience, native-level English proficiency, and the ability to build trusted partnerships, influence senior stakeholders, and drive alignment across a complex international organization.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate and/or internal communications, including within a global matrix organization in manufacturing (or a related industry).
  • Experience developing and leading strategic communication plans that support business objectives, drive engagement, and protect or enhance corporate reputation.
  • Native-level English proficiency with exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent business partnering capacities, acting as a trusted advisor to business functions to align communication strategies with organizational priorities and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to understand and translate complex business, technical, financial, and governance topics into clear narratives and compelling stories for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project management skills, with experience leading global, cross-functional communication initiatives and aligning stakeholders across functions, geographies, and cultures.
  • Expertise in branding, corporate identity, and tone-of-voice management, combined with a strong eye for visual communications, including design, photography, and video.
  • Ability to build credibility and influence senior leaders providing strategic counsel and guidance on complex or sensitive communication matters.
  • Expertise in media relations and content development, including story pitching, press materials, interview preparation, press releases, executive messaging, speeches, and scripts.
