Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain AI agents/application and orchestration flows in Python using LangChain, LangGraph and DeepAgent, under the direction of the Delivery Lead and Forward Deployed Engineer.
• Build and extend platform components that support agent delivery, including shared tools, retrieval paths, connectors and evaluation hooks.
• Contribute to proof-of-technology (PoT) work to test feasibility, integration and operating constraints before a wider build.
• Implement data queries and API integrations so agents and platform services can use existing systems and data stores, including MongoDB.
• Package and deploy services on OpenShift and through standard deployment pipelines, including build, release and basic operational checks.
• Use the Azure and AWS AI stacks as the primary model and platform services. Google Cloud AI services may be used where already present.
• Debug, test and document implementations so they can be handed to the Delivery Lead, Forward Deployed Engineer and supporting IT teams.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Python for application and AI service development.
• Practical experience with LangChain and LangGraph. Experience with DeepAgent is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB and of writing data queries against operational or document stores.
• Experience integrating systems through APIs (REST or equivalent), including authentication, error handling and data mapping.
• Experience deploying applications with a CI/CD or equivalent deployment pipeline.
• Hands-on use of Azure and/or AWS AI services (for example model APIs, search, document intelligence or related platform services). Google Cloud is an advantage only.
• Experience with AI-assisted development or rapid prototyping is an advantage.
