As a Security Guard Reception in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic educational location, you will welcome students, staff, and visitors while supporting access control and maintaining awareness of security-related activity. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and help create a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify access credentials as required, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus and site protocols.
• Answer phones, provide general information and directions, document daily activities and incidents, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
