Seasonal Driver - Orlando

Overview

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Driver. The Driver delivers vehicles and in some instances, customers, employees or vendors safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service.

 

This pay for this position starts at $15 / hour and is located at 8350 Hangar Blvd. Orlando, FL 32827.

 

This is a seasonal position and cannot exceed 120 days of service. The season will start December 7th and will conclude on April 3rd.

 

This is an on call position with operating hours of 7:30am-6:30pm. Candidates will be required to work two-three (2-3) days per week. We have multiple schedules available.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road
• Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles
• Notify Manager of any customer or vehicle problems including daily maintenance, including but not limited to ensuring proper oil, tire and fluid levels
• Ensure proper fuel tank level and fill with gasoline, if needed
• Complete paperwork associated with pick-up and delivery of vehicles
• Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely
• May be asked to clean vehicle and/or keep bus clean during shift
• May be asked to assist customers with directions, car options, luggage loading and unloading and basic policy/procedures
• Practice safe driving with attention to detail and thoroughness in order to prevent injury to others and damage to all vehicles in operation
• A variety of vehicles are driven in all weather and road conditions
• Operate GPS (personal or GPS with in the vehicle) while on assigned route

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• Must have valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years.
• Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English
• Must be willing to stand and walk (3-5 miles) for long periods of time
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions with moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

• Seasonal employees may work for up to 120 days during a defined season. They must experience a 3 month break in service at the end of the season prior to working again as a seasonal or a regular employee.
