Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Prevention in Decatur, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel, and complete required incident documentation.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and other security-related duties while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
