As a Warehouse Forklift Operative, you'll play a key role in keeping our manufacturing operation running smoothly at our Sidcup site. Working across Goods In, Process and Manufacturing, you'll safely move materials and finished products, support production operations, and ensure materials are available where and when they're needed.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with colleagues across the site to maintain high standards of safety, quality and efficiency while helping to keep production moving.

Shift Pattern: This role operates on a rotating 42-hour days and nights shift pattern, including alternate weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely move, load and unload materials and finished goods using site equipment.
  • Ensure materials are stored, issued and returned correctly.
  • Operate equipment safely, supporting start-up, changeover and shutdown activities.
  • Monitor production lines and report any issues or faults promptly.
  • Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance activities.
  • Complete quality and safety checks in line with site standards.
  • Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
  • Contribute ideas to improve safety, efficiency and ways of working.

Skills and Essentials

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy, team-focused environment and takes pride in working safely and efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

  • A valid RTITB Forklift Truck licence.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong organisation and team working skills
  • Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work the rotating day and night shift pattern.
