Role Purpose

Owns updation, and version control of all technical drawings and documentation for the facility, ensuring SLDs, floor plans, and as-built drawings reflect the current state of infrastructure at all times of the Client's Airoli Data Center.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for electrical and mechanical systems whenever infrastructure changes occur, ensuring printed copies are displayed at designated locations
• Update as-built drawings for electrical, mechanical, fire, and BMS systems
• Support change management by producing updated drawings ahead of any infrastructure modification, aligned to the change approval process
• Maintain floor plans, rack layouts, and space utilization drawings for the facility
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and project teams to incorporate drawing updates following maintenance or upgrade works
• Maintain a central drawing repository with version history for audit and compliance purposes
• Support Site Lead and engineering teams with drawing extracts for MOPs, RCAs, and audits
• Ensure drawing standards and templates are consistent and comply with site documentation guidelines
• Assist in capacity planning documentation (power/cooling availability mapping) using CAD outputs
• Support external and internal audits with accurate, current technical drawings on request

 

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent CAD certification
• 4–6 years' experience in AutoCAD drafting/documentation, preferably within a data center, industrial, or critical-facility environment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D mandatory; 3D/Revit knowledge an advantage)
• Working knowledge of electrical SLDs, mechanical P&IDs, and fire system layouts
• Strong attention to detail and document version control discipline
• Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams (electrical, mechanical, BMS, fire)
• Basic understanding of change management and compliance documentation processes
• Proficiency in MS Office for supporting reports and documentation
