Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Emergency Response in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and respond professionally to situations requiring sound judgment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare plasma collection location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, and collaborate with site representatives and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
