An established emergency veterinary hospital in Apple Valley, Minnesota is seeking a full-time or part-time Emergency Veterinarian to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency and urgent veterinary care
- Diagnose and develop appropriate treatment plans for emergency cases
- Perform emergency procedures and surgeries as needed
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and patient care
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other hospital team members
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Promote a compassionate, patient-focused approach to emergency medicine
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative hospital culture
- Support continued improvements in patient care and hospital operations
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
- Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure in Minnesota
- Strong interest in emergency and urgent care medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
