Job Description: Warehouse Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations Management
- Take full responsibility for the daily operations and management of the Cambodia warehouse.
- Oversee the receiving, unloading, inspection, storage, sorting, packing, and dispatching of parcels.
- Organize warehouse processes to ensure parcels are handled accurately and on time.
2. Parcel & Order Management
- Arrange parcel sorting and dispatching according to orders and logistics information.
- Ensure parcels are correctly matched with orders and tracking numbers.
- Handle wrong, missing, damaged, or lost parcels and other operational issues.
- Coordinate with the delivery team to ensure parcels are handed over and delivered on time.
3. Inventory Management
- Manage warehouse inventory and ensure system records match actual stock.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure proper classification, storage, and location management of parcels.
- Minimize parcel loss, damage, and long-term storage.
4. Warehouse Team Management
- Manage, train, schedule, and assign daily tasks to warehouse staff.
- Allocate manpower according to daily parcel volume to improve efficiency.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure proper operating procedures are followed.
- Maintain good team discipline and standardized warehouse procedures.
5. Logistics & Delivery Coordination
- Maintain communication with the China logistics team, Cambodia transportation team, and delivery team.
- Monitor daily incoming and outgoing parcels.
- Arrange parcel handover to the delivery team according to shipment volume.
- Handle warehouse-related issues during transportation and delivery operations.
6. Warehouse Safety & Management
- Responsible for warehouse safety, equipment, fire prevention, and working environment.
- Ensure parcels are stored safely, properly, and in an organized manner.
- Prevent parcel loss, damage, theft, and other safety incidents.
7. Data & Reporting
- Prepare daily and weekly warehouse operation statistics and reports.
- Provide reports on inbound, outbound, inventory, and abnormal parcels.
- Analyze warehouse operational issues and propose improvement solutions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in courier, logistics, e-commerce, or cross-border logistics.
- Proven experience in managing and supervising warehouse teams.
- Good understanding of receiving, storage, sorting, inventory control, and dispatch operations.
- Experience in inventory checking and handling parcel-related issues.
- Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and strong in execution.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with high parcel volumes.
- Experience with WMS, ERP, or other warehouse management systems is an advantage.
- Good Chinese communication skills are preferred for daily communication with the China team.
Working Conditions
- Working hours: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM; 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- Working days: Monday – Saturday
- Public holidays: in accordance with the Labor Law
- Working location: Sen Sok District, Phnom Penh
