Maintenance Tech - Daylight 4x10's

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Maintenance Tech - Daylight 4x10's to join our brand new team in Jonesville, SC!

This position will work a 4x10 schedule from 5 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday. However, hours may flex before or after shift based on business need as our team grows and ramps up.

The hourly range for this position is $25-$33 per hour.

This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $1,000*, paid in two installments, less applicable withholding.

## What you’ll do:

The Maintenance Tech I is the “second level” role on the plant’s industrial maintenance team. Your priority is to be safe and to look out for your co-worker’s safety. Speak up and if you aren’t sure, Stop, Stand Back and Get Help. You will also manage your Quality and Labor Efficiency, while ensuring maximum equipment uptime. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Planner who will direct your work. You will be responsible for the successful completion of the work orders assigned to you as well as other duties assigned to you by your supervisor or plant leadership.

In this role, you will:

• Adhere to all Eaton safety policies and procedures while playing a proactive role in our safety culture by identifying hazards and completing corrective actions.
• Partner with the Maintenance Operations Team through active communication, learning, and being adaptable to change.
• Complete equipment installations, refurbishments, and coordinate work with internal and external resources.
• Read and comprehend manuals, schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
• Complete basic industrial electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical work throughout the plant.
• Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), root cause analysis, and troubleshoot issues.

## Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• One of the following is required:
• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in manufacturing, facilities, or industrial maintenance.
• Completion of a formal education in Industrial or Mechanical Maintenance, Mechatronics, Industrial Electricity, Automation, HVAC, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience completing mechanical or electrical repairs.
• Experience completing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Machining operations with setup and operation (lathe, mill, grinder, etc.)
• Basic welding experience.

Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, or other mechanical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment, use hand tools, measuring tools, and basic mechanical systems.
• Strong technical skills or knowledge in Electrical (including PLCs), Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical systems.
