About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter to give Teabox a consistent, engaging voice across every touchpoint. You will write for new product launches, our website, blogs, articles, and social media, turning the story of our teas into content that informs, connects, and converts.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Launch Writing
- Write product descriptions, launch announcements, taglines, packaging copy, and email/WhatsApp campaign copy for new tea launches.
- Work with the Product and Marketing teams to understand product details (origin, flavour profile, brewing method, USP) and translate them into compelling copy.
Website Content
- Create and update copy for the website: homepage, category and product pages, landing pages, FAQs, and banners.
- Apply basic SEO practices (keywords, meta titles, descriptions) to improve discoverability.
Blogs & Articles
- Research and write blogs and long-form articles on tea, wellness, brewing, gardens, and lifestyle.
- Maintain a content calendar and deliver on time.
Social Media
- Write captions, hooks, scripts, and campaign copy for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Collaborate with the design and video teams so copy and visuals work together.
- Keep up with trends and suggest content ideas that fit the brand.
Brand Voice & Quality
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice and brand guidelines across all content.
- Proofread and edit your own work and, where needed, content from other teams.
- Track content performance (engagement, traffic, conversions) and refine based on insights.
Requirements:
Must have
- 1 + year of experience in copywriting or content writing (brand, D2C, e-commerce, or agency experience is preferred).
- Excellent written English with strong grammar, storytelling, and editing skills.
- Ability to adapt tone across formats, from a crisp product description to a thoughtful blog.
- Adept in SEO fundamentals.
- A portfolio or writing samples showing website, blog, and social media work.
Good to have
- Interest in tea, food and beverage, or the wellness space.
- Familiarity with tools such as WordPress/Shopify, Canva, Google Analytics, or SEO tools.
- Updated with social media algorithms and content trends.
