Position Summary
The Director, Data, Analytics & Artificial Intelligence (AI) leads Bedrock's enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategy and oversees the team responsible for the platforms, integrations, reporting, automation, and AI capabilities that deliver actionable insights across the organization. This role establishes the vision, roadmap, priorities, and execution plans for data, analytics, and AI initiatives and ensures solutions support business objectives, budgets, timelines, and operational needs across Bedrock's vertically integrated commercial real estate platform, including Accounting, Finance, Asset Management, Leasing, Legal, Property Management, Hospitality, Development, Design, and Construction
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain Bedrock's enterprise data, analytics, integration, and AI strategy, architecture, roadmap, priorities, budgets, and delivery plans.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, integrations, business intelligence, analytics, and AI initiatives.
- Partner with Technology and business leaders to identify high-value business opportunities and translate business needs into data, analytics, and AI solutions.
- Establish and oversee the evaluation, selection, implementation, and lifecycle management of data, analytics, integration, and AI platforms.
- Define and monitor service levels, key performance indicators, adoption metrics, risk metrics, and business outcomes for implemented capabilities.
- Lead Bedrock's enterprise data governance program, including data ownership, stewardship, quality standards, business glossaries, security, privacy, retention, and compliance practices.
- Lead enterprise AI strategy, governance, prioritization, development, deployment, adoption, and value realization efforts.
- Establish delivery standards and operating practices for requirements management, project planning, development tracking, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Lead data architecture, integration, and design reviews and ensure approved changes are implemented accurately and effectively across the organization.
- Establish controls and operational procedures that support the accuracy, reliability, sustainability, and governance of Bedrock's data platforms and integrations.
- Lead change management, stakeholder readiness, adoption, training, and support efforts for new data, analytics, and AI solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovation opportunities related to data, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, information systems, business intelligence, AI, or related disciplines.
- Significant experience with Microsoft data and analytics platforms including Power BI, Azure, Fabric, OneLake, Data Factory, SQL Database, Copilot, and related technologies.
- Experience leading enterprise AI programs, including governance, prioritization, implementation, adoption, and value measurement.
- Experience establishing and leading enterprise data governance programs and data ownership frameworks.
- Experience building and leading technical teams responsible for data architecture, integrations, analytics, business intelligence, and AI delivery.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions, roadmaps, projects, and business cases.
- Commercial real estate experience and familiarity with development, construction, property management, and vertically integrated operations preferred
Work Environment
- Bedrock is an in-person, five-day-a-week workplace. All team members are expected to work on site Monday through Friday during standard business hours, unless otherwise specified by their role or designated shift.
- Some roles may have flexibility to work remotely on Fridays, based on the nature of the work and business needs. This flexibility is granted at the discretion of the Company and may be adjusted at any time.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use; occasional movement between buildings; ability to occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
