Job Description

As a Senior Sales Executive at United Overseas Bank., you will drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones, focusing on delivering tailored financial solutions.

Responsibilities:**
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, cold calling, and networking, to acquire high-value clients.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their financial needs and offering appropriate UOB products and services (e.g., loans, deposits, investment products, trade finance).
* Conduct thorough financial needs analysis and propose customized solutions, clearly articulating the value proposition.
* Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective and existing clients.
* Negotiate terms and close sales agreements, ensuring compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including product teams, credit risk, and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
* Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
* Provide exceptional post-sales service and support to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
* Mentor and guide junior sales team members, sharing best practices and contributing to their development.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales activities in the CRM system.

Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the banking or financial services industry, with a strong track record of exceeding targets.
* Demonstrated experience in managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals or corporate clients.
* In-depth knowledge of banking products and services, including loans, deposits, investment products, and trade finance.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build rapport at all levels.
* Strong negotiation and closing skills with a results-oriented mindset.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
* High level of integrity and strong ethical conduct.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CMFAS) will be an advantage.
