Specialist NICU (Arabic Speaker) – Abu Dhabi

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist NICU (Arabic Speaker) to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialized, high-quality care to premature and critically ill newborns in a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, assess, and manage critically ill and premature neonates in the NICU.
• Perform neonatal resuscitation, stabilization, and emergency interventions when required.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans for newborns.
• Monitor patients closely and make timely clinical decisions based on their condition.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal neonatal outcomes.
• Counsel and educate parents and families regarding neonatal conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and governance activities.
• Contribute to a safe, supportive, and family-centered NICU environment.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Specialist qualification in Neonatology or Pediatrics.
• Valid DOH License/Eligibility Letter, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in a NICU setting.
• Proven experience in managing premature and critically ill neonates.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based neonatal care.
