We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Servicing & Loan Origination Manager to supervise mortgage lending and servicing activities in conjunction with contact center operations.
This role is particularly suited to a licensed or license-eligible experienced mortgage professional who has additional contact center leadership experience.
Location: Onsite Savannah Georgia

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee mortgage lending and servicing activities, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of mortgage processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide mortgage-related guidance and support to employees and internal teams.
- Lead and support contact center operations across other lines of business, as required.
- Coach and support employees to promote strong performance and operational standards.
- Partner with leadership to improve processes and support business objectives.
Must-Have / Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Candidates must meet one of the following mortgage experience requirements:
- 3 years of experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer within the last 5 years, with at least 45 loans closed; OR
- 2 years of experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer within the last 5 years, with at least 30 loans closed, plus additional experience as a mortgage processor, underwriter, manager or instructor; OR
- 10 years of experience within the last 12 years managing or supervising at least 5 mortgage originators, with at least 15 loans closed within the last 5 years.

- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must never have had a mortgage loan originator or mortgage servicing license revoked.
- Must not have a felony conviction, guilty plea or no-contest plea within the past 7 years, or at any time where the offense involved fraud, dishonesty, breach of trust or money laundering.
- Must be bonded or bondable.
- Must provide applicable administrative, civil and criminal history.
- Must be willing to provide a credit report.
- Must live near Savannah, Georgia, or be willing to relocate/commute.
- Must be able to work onsite Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EDT.
- Must be willing and able to complete all required licensing, education, examination and fingerprinting requirements.
- Once engaged, mortgage lending and servicing activities must be conducted exclusively on behalf of the company. The successful candidate may not use their mortgage license to conduct mortgage business for other organizations or clients.

Licensing Requirements
- A Georgia Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license is preferred but not required to start. Candidates who do not currently hold the required license must be willing to obtain it immediately upon starting.
- Depending on the candidate's current licensing status, requirements may include:
- Completion of the required 20-hour NMLS pre-licensing course, including federal law, ethics and non-traditional mortgage products.
- Passing the required NMLS written examination with a minimum score of 75%.
- NMLS fingerprinting.
- Submission of applicable administrative, civil and criminal history.
- Submission of a credit report.
- Completion of required state-specific mortgage education.
- Passing the required mortgage lending manager examination.
- Obtaining and maintaining the required Georgia Mortgage Loan Originator license.
- Completing a minimum of 8 hours of continuing education annually.
- Candidates who already hold an applicable license should provide their NMLS ID.
- The employer will pay all expenses associated with obtaining and maintaining required licensing.
- Candidates will be expected to maintain all required licenses and comply with applicable regulatory requirements throughout their employment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
