Commercial Leasing Lawyer | 5+ PQE
The opportunity
An established Sydney advisory firm is seeking a Property Leasing Lawyer to join its commercial property practice. You will work closely with experienced property lawyers, advising businesses, retailers, landlords and tenants on a broad range of leasing matters.
What you’ll work on
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial and retail leases, agreements for lease and related documents.
- Act for landlords and tenants across retail, office and commercial premises.
- Advise on renewals, variations, assignments, subleases and terminations, including multi-site leasing portfolios.
- Provide practical advice on retail leasing legislation and compliance, while liaising directly with clients and stakeholders.
About you
- At least 5 years’ PQE in commercial property and/or retail leasing.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to manage leasing matters with increasing autonomy.
- A commercially minded, organised and collaborative approach, with an interest in building a long-term property law career.
