ABOUT THE POSITION
The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating all production activities within assigned areas to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. This position leads production employees, oversees workflow, monitors performance, and ensures compliance with all company, regulatory, and food safety standards. The Supervisor of Production plays a key leadership role in driving efficiency and promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, schedule, and output goals.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, company policies, and safety requirements.
• Train, coach, and evaluate employees to support performance and development.
• Monitor and document production results, including yields, downtime, and labor.
• Partner with Quality and Maintenance to support product quality and operational needs.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and shift-change communication.
• Lead team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and improvement priorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• High school diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing.
• Intermediate reading and math skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of food safety requirements and manufacturing best practices.
• Ability to lead diverse teams, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Food production/processing and ERP system experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including extended standing/walking, frequent bending, reaching and stair climbing, varying temperatures/humidity, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must have adequate vision, hearing, and color recognition to safely perform job duties.
