Overview
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping department within a condo-hotel environment at E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences. This role ensures that guest rooms, participating residential units, and public areas are consistently clean, well maintained, and presented to brand standards, while leading the housekeeping team, controlling costs, and coordinating closely with Front Office, Engineering, and Residential Services to deliver a seamless experience for hotel guests and unit owners.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, participating residential units, public areas, back-of-house areas, and laundry/linen services.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality cleanliness and presentation for hotel guests and residential owners in accordance with brand standards and condo-hotel agreements.
- Conduct and oversee room and public area inspections; follow up on deficiencies to ensure standards are met.
- Coordinate room status and turnover with the Front Office to support timely arrivals, departures, and in-stay service requests.
- Monitor guest feedback, inspection results, and satisfaction metrics related to housekeeping, and take corrective action as needed.
- Assist with service recovery for housekeeping-related guest and owner concerns.
- Report maintenance and repair needs to Engineering and follow up to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of shared spaces and amenities, including the lobby, pool, fitness center, and internal and external public areas.
- Lead, coach, and develop housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff.
- Train team members on cleaning procedures, brand standards, chemical safety, and proper equipment use.
- Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and collaboration.
- Ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling based on forecasted occupancy, and monitor labor for efficiency.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and corrective actions for housekeeping team members.
- Assist in the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of housekeeping team members in accordance with E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences hiring policies.
- Manage the housekeeping department budget, including labor, supplies, linen, and chemical costs.
- Maintain inventory and par levels of linens, amenities, cleaning supplies, and equipment; place orders as needed.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, such as laundry and pest control providers, to ensure services meet standards.
- Ensure accurate departmental reporting and documentation, including lost and found procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and chemical safety (SDS) requirements.
- Follow safety procedures, emergency preparedness, and incident response protocols, and ensure team members are trained accordingly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Hotel and Facilities Operations or management.
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Three to five (3-5) years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or residential hospitality environment, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience in condo-hotel, mixed-use, or branded hotel environments preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing labor, supplies, and departmental expenses.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, in a 24/7 operational environment.
Licenses or Certificates:
Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates, or permits.

For Employees Based in Colorado:
- 8 paid holidays per year; employees working in the City of Denver receive 64 hours of designated holiday time per calendar year
- Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service
- 6 days or 48 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year, accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
For Employees Based in California:
- 8 paid holidays per year
- Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service, capped at 1.5x annual accrual rate; non-supervisory employees working in the City of Los Angeles accrue up to 22 days of Compensated Time Off, based on length of service capped at 192 hours of combined PST and CTO.
- Paid Sick Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, unused time is carried over from one anniversary year to the next up to a maximum of 80 hours; employees working in the City of Los Angeles are provided 40 hours of Paid Sick Time annually on their anniversary, unused time is not carried over from one anniversary year to the next.

For such associates, eligibility for and the terms and conditions of benefits are governed by the applicable CBA and any applicable plan documents, and may differ from the benefits described above. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency, the terms of the applicable CBA and governing plan documents will control, as applicable.
