Operations Foreman

The Operations Foreman oversees daily field activities, coordinates crews, manages job-site workflow, and ensures that projects progress according to schedule, quality expectations, and safety standards. This is a fully onsite leadership role requiring hands-on supervision, technical construction knowledge, and strong communication skills. The Foreman serves as a key link between field teams and project supervisors.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise field crews and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.Organize daily work schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate workflow across job-site operations.Lead site setup, equipment staging, material delivery coordination, and work sequencing.Monitor workmanship and enforce company quality standards across all project phases.Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed; identify hazards and correct unsafe practices immediately.Conduct daily job-site briefings, including safety meetings and task reviews.Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and work orders to guide field activity.Collaborate with project supervisors, estimators, and operations management to resolve site issues.Track project progress, report updates, and communicate material or labor needs.Operate or oversee operation of construction equipment and tools as needed.Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards.Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring field employees.Document daily activities, incidents, delays, and completed tasks for reporting purposes.Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and worker performance.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical training preferred.3–7 years of construction experience, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership or foreman role.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documentation.Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse field teams.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.Strong understanding of job-site safety requirements and OSHA guidelines.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and navigate active construction environments.Physically capable of lifting materials, climbing ladders, and performing hands-on tasks as needed.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site travel.Proficiency with basic mobile apps or reporting tools is a plus.Work Environment & ConditionsFully onsite role across multiple active construction sites.Work may involve early mornings, extended shifts, weekends, and overtime.Outdoor environment with exposure to weather, noise, and construction hazards.PPE required at all times in accordance with company and safety regulations.Why Work at Outlast LLC?Opportunity to lead skilled teams on a wide range of construction projects.Stable, long-term growth environment with advancement potential into project supervision or operations management.Work for a company that values craftsmanship, leadership, and safety.Supportive management team and strong culture of teamwork and accountability.
