Key Responsibilities

• Arrives to work on time as scheduled in full uniform.
• Fulfills all job responsibilities in order to contribute to “a great dining experience from beginning to end” for our guests.
• Work directly with both BOH and FOH team members to ensure all of the guest's needs are fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Ensure menu knowledge to address any server or bartender questions about the menu; including food allergy issues.
• Follows recipes; Upholds specs and perfect presentation of every dish.
• Proper food handling and sanitation of work areas; ensures compliance with food handling requirements.
• Maintain neat and organized work areas; to include sweeping and mopping as needed.
• Accomplishes all running and end of shift side work; including ensuring work areas are clean and all prepped food is labeled and stored properly

Requirements

A Prep Cook is responsible for tasks that include prepping food items to perfection. This position requires a sense of urgency and adaptability. S/he represents the Company by providing service that exhibits professionalism, attention to detail, and the desire to create a positive environment.

Essential Requirements & Skills

• Desire to provide exceptional service throughout the entire shift.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as with a team.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team Members must be 18 years of age at the time of hire.

Working Conditions & Physical Demand

The Prep Cook is expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodation. This job entails frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity and extreme cold, contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood and produce items. Physical demands include:

• Remain standing for extended periods of time.
• Bend, squat, and lift up to 70 lbs. above waist level.
• Substantial repetitive motion of the wrists, hands and fingers.
