Installer - Entry Level
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uses best practices in installation techniques for new construction and replacement projects.
- Assists in installing products ordered.
- Learns to interpret job installation reports.
- Ensures all customers are treated in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Maintains neat job-site practice
- Learns job planning -including reviewing job work order assignments, calendar coordination, and route review.
- Assists in assessing installation and repair projects.
- Will communicate with the service department on any changes to orders needed.
- learn to take comprehensive photos of issues that allow for evaluations.
- Tests installations to ensure the product is in working order and to customer satisfaction.
- Responds to additional customer requests.
- Adheres to policies and procedures for documentation.
Qualifications
Installer - Entry Level
To perform this job successfully:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED/Trade School) a plus
- NYS Drivers License
- Residential construction and millwork experience a plus
- Frequent standing and heavy lifting routinely required
