SAP Project Test Lead

Role – SAP Project Test Lead Location - London, UKPermanent RoleHybrid 3 days office Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced SAP Project Test Lead with strong domain expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) and exposure to SUN (financial ledger platform). This is a leadership-focused role requiring deep functional understanding rather than hands-on testing.The ideal candidate will be confident engaging with Finance SMEs, capable of leading testing strategy discussions, and able to challenge and validate business requirements effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end test strategy, planning, and governance for SAP finance-related projectsAct as the primary liaison between IT, testing teams, and Finance SMEsDrive test planning, scope definition, and risk management for AR and SUN-related implementationsReview and validate test scenarios, test cases, and business requirementsEnsure alignment of testing activities with business expectations and financial controlsManage and coordinate test execution teams (offshore/onshore)Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholdersChallenge stakeholders constructively and ensure robust validation of financial processesRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong experience as a Test Lead / Test Manager in SAP Finance projectsDeep understanding of SAP Accounts Receivable (AR) processesPrior exposure to SUN / financial ledger systemsProven experience in test governance, planning, and stakeholder managementAbility to operate in a non-hands-on leadership roleStrong experience working with Finance SMEs and senior stakeholdersExcellent communication, articulation, and influencing skillsAbility to handle pushback and lead discussions confidentlyPreferred QualificationsExperience in large-scale SAP transformation or finance system implementationsKnowledge of financial controls, reconciliation, and reporting processesISTQB or equivalent testing certification (desirable)
