Description
JOB SUMMARY AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position performs responsible semiskilled worker in the maintenance and operation of private country club tennis courts; does related work as required. Work is performed under the regular supervision of the Athletic Director.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is light work requiring the exertion of up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required:

- Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
- Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Repetitive Motion: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
- Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
- Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
- Vocal communication: Required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
- Hearing: Required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels.
- Visual acuity: Required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, and extreme heat.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Cleans and maintains tennis courts and facilities; collects and accounts for fees; assists patrons; court security.
- Cleans courts of sand and debris.
- Maintaining courts, nets and windscreens.
- Collects court fees, records and accounts for monies collected.
- Cleans shop and restrooms, sweeps and mops floors.
- Picks up and disposes of trash.
- Sells merchandise.
- Maintains bulletin board information.
- Performs related tasks as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Tennis court grooming experience preferred.
