You’ll be trusted to work independently, flexibly adapting to changing priorities, while always keeping safety, animal welfare, and environmental compliance front of mind. Daily you’ll be on farms, working across several Pāmu farms in the region.
This is a drive in drive out role with no accommodation available.

Our machinery team plays a vital role across the whole complex, delivering cultivation and ground preparation, feeding, topping, fertiliser application, and general farm support when it’s needed most.
This is a role where your work has real scale and real impact - but still feels personal. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that looks out for each other, takes safety seriously, and values respect, clear communication, and balance.
At Weka, you’re not just managing machines - you’re helping farms, animals, and people thrive.

Proactive about health, safety, animal welfare, and the environment
Strong communicator with managers, staff, contractors, and suppliers
Accurate with record-keeping and reporting – and enjoy using and learning new systems
