Join Amcor as an Electrical Mechanical Technician and play a key role in producing high-quality packaging that makes a global impact. You’ll ensure safety, quality standards, and contribute to a team focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.  

Schedule  

• Shift: 2-2-3: 12-hour shifts, nights, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Job Description: Possibility Unpacked  

What you’ll do:  

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on electrical and control systems  

• Install, modify, and maintain motors, drives, PLCs, and related equipment  

• Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime  

• Ensure compliance with safety, EHS, and operational standards  

• Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively  

• Document work performed and maintain accurate records  

• Proactively identify improvement opportunities for equipment reliability and efficiency  

What We Want From You: Lead the Pack  

Preferred qualifications:  

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical/electronics preferred  

• 3+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting  

• Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical troubleshooting  

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals  

• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and maintenance systems  

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills  

• Ability to work safely with high-voltage systems and equipment  

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
