Overview
The Terminal Operator is responsible for unloading grain and grain by-products from trucks, operating door guns and car vibrators, and cleaning barge covers. The role involves recognizing various grains, communicating abnormal conditions, and performing barge/deck hand duties in all weather conditions. Operators must complete pre and post track checks, wear required PPE, and assist with maintenance activities. This position requires the ability to work at heights and near moving rail cars and barges, with a focus on safety and productivity.
