SUMMARY:

This position is part of the Commodity Risk Management accounting department (CRMa). This group works closely with the Commodity Procurement Group, Fresh Meats Risk Management and Prepared Foods Risk Management in reviewing, preparing, and reporting commodity hedge activity. This position will be primarily responsible for enhancing and streamlining current reporting processes and will also work closely with the Enablement Finance group on special projects. Other accounting related duties as assigned. 
 

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

Streamline current reporting through utilization of Power BI leveraging multiple data sources Create new reports in Commodity Risk Management business software and build dashboards utilizing the suite of departmental reports Automate manual operational processes in Commodity Risk Management business software utilizing scripting and SQL coding.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Requires a Bachelors degree in an academic field directly related to the job being filled. Accounting, Finance or Management Information Systems degree preferred 12 hours minimum accounting required.
• Experience: 3 plus years accounting experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Access/Power BI; knowledge of SQL coding and experience in working in Enterprise Business Resource management systems preferred. 
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Special Skills: Strong analytical/critical thinking ability/skills.
• Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a support team member who performs similar and or interrelated tasks and activities.
• Travel: Limited
